Here's how to get started

The first step is to open a DATCU savings account – either online or at one of our branches – with a $5 minimum deposit. After that, you can open a Mean Green Checking Account, apply for loans, and take advantage of all the services we offer.

Your school. Your card. Your discounts.

DATCU is the only financial institution to offer a debit card with the Diving Eagle logo. It can be used to receive a 20% discount at the DATCU Stadium store and on single-game and season tickets for football and basketball. That's just one of many reasons to open a Mean Green checking account:

Have an account to accept Financial Aid reimbursements: If you have cash left over in your student account after tuition and fees, transfer it to your Mean Green account for immediate use.
Get your questions answered at an on-campus branch location: Visit our branch directly across from Eagle Student Services to ask questions, apply for a credit card, or learn more about how DATCU supports UNT students. We also have a convenient ATM at this location to accept check or cash deposits.
Access your accounts online or through the DATCU app 24/7: Through the DATCU app, you can remote deposit a check, transfer money between accounts, and send cash to friends and family with Zelle.
